The next Michael Phelps of the 2028 Olympics, Conor Thompssoooooonnnnnnnnn

Okay... With all the Olympic coverage going on, I just can't help but share this video of Conor. He loooves the water. He loves being in or out of his vest and just going all over the pool. Okay, well, with the vest he is all over the pool. Without the vest he keeps to the shallow end near the steps. :) Either way, he loves the water. Check out  this video of him swimming - Vest Free.

Okay....... Onto the developments....

Conor had his doctor appointment last Friday to get established with his new doctor and to get his script for extra speech. Still disappointed about the whole having to switch doctors, but it is what it is. Hopefully Jason can get on somewhere with some good insurance and we can switch back to Dr Gettleman. But in the mean time, just gotta suck it up. Conor weighed in at 32.2 pounds and is in the 75% area. He is 37 inches tall and in the 51% area. So he is on track with his growing. Waited for the doctor to come in and ended up just seeing a nurse practitioner. Whatever. Kinda thought the first visit would have been with a doctor, but I guess since he wasn't sick and was only there to get established and a for a script it's all good. Anyway, she did a quick exam on him, gave me the script, and we were out the door. THANK YOU AHCCCS for approving Conor of medical insurance!!! I got the script and immediately sent it to Conor's DDD caseworker and his speech therapist to get the ball rolling for the 2nd hour of speech therapy. Now, just waiting for the paperwork/approval process blah blah blah. UGH... Just approve it already!

I contacted the Hope Group to get Conor set up with the Hab-M therapy. The lady I spoke with Sonya was awesome. Very knowledgeable. Very willing to answer questions and help. She sent me out the packet of paperwork. I received it and set it back. Within a few days they had my paperwork and had Conor in their system. Now they wait for the authorization from DDD as well as a Hab-M person to become available to come evaluate Conor. UGH......... I don't like waiting.

Next thing is a meeting the Dysart School District on Friday......
